Sitting down on one of the few wooden benches that were spread out around the fountain, a girl with long blonde hair stared up admirably at the sky. The sun was setting, going to hide beneith the safety of the trees. Allowing the sky to change into a satisfying violet, tinted orange. Not much people were out by now, seeing as they had places to be by now. Artemis on the other hand, had tonight off from hanging with friends. A nice relaxing night to herself.
Looking back when she was chased by vamps by a young age, she looked like she was doing fine. Her childhood innocence was replaced, and long gone. Replaced by the normal teenage attractive-ness. Her saphire orbs closed and allowed what was left of the light to shine on her face as she thought.
Artemis still remembered Theo, who could forget someone like that? Saving you from death. Of course Snowy had helped also, the cute little feline. "Meow," The cat meowed, as if responding to her thoughts, it's head rose to rub against her head and purr. 'A boy could get use to this feline stuff,' Snow thought, a his tail lashed back and force.

The human blood that ran in his veins had been keeping him safe from the rays of sun, that had it not been for his father would be bearing down on him like a fierce fire. Or so, he figured. To him it was just a little hotter than usual, the light didn't bother him. His mother always stayed inside during daylight, Father would keep the opaque white blinds down and light the house with candles. It was rare that mother would leave at any time between Sunrise and Sunset, and when she returned, she always looked somewhat paler and exhausted. Theodore had first thought that she was just allergic to the sun, until his father explained to him about how Vampyres could not go out in sunlight because of how much it weakened them.
Today was one of those hot days in which his mother would've stayed in, Theodore had however been out all day, which was different, usually he would sleep til at least midday. But last night he had gotten home early and fallen asleep. Waking up early in the morning, he went out for a morning jog, then decided to go out to do some weapon buffing, and get some neccessary things done.
Because of the heat, Theodore had a thin maroon sleeve-less shirt on, and some black shorts, not to mention those sandals that covered his feet. Some shades were covering those cat-like eyes, he preffered to hide them, people stared when they weren't covered. Girls in particular. Annoying things, "Hiya, erm, just wondering how comes your eyes are like that? Are you like bilingual or something?" & no matter what story or comment he threw at them, they'd only persist to question him about stuff. Irritating? Yes.
Theodore noticed the sun beginning to set, and bought himself a coffee. As he was walking along town square drinking it, he noticed some benches around a fountain he went to go sit on one to rest his feet from the large amount of walking around he'd done today. But the bench he had been going for was sat down upon by a girl, a fairly familiar looking girl. He stopped and blinked at her, She reminded him of someone he'd met in the past.
Oh yes, she looked like that little six year old girl, he had saved so long ago. That hyper happy little girl, Artemis was her name. She had called him her hero. Hero. The only time someone had ever called her that, the only time. He approached the girl, curious. Also she had a white cat, just like the little girl. She looked so much like her, could this be her? No, it just wasn't possible. Theodore decided to test the waters, What would he say? He wasn't a people person, his mind threw a thousnds greetings he could use. Over three quarters of them sounded threatening, a third of the last quarter were stupid. This seat taken?.... well obviously not she just sat there, she's alone. He continued to think about it, but know he was too close to the bench to avoid it, so when he reached her the sentence that left his lips was.
`May i sit here?`

'May I sit here?' The words made Artemis open her blue irises and tilt her head to the male whom said it. "Yah, Go ahead," Saying this, the femme moved over giving a place for the boy to sit. The white cat moved onto her lap, lowering his haunches into a sitting position. His long tail wisping slightly before wrapping around his paws neatly. A low hiss sounded in the back of his throat, the aura that surrounded the boy was warning enough to the house-pet. Never-the-less though, Snow memorized theboys face from long ago and matched it to the male now.
At first glance, Artemis didn't really think anything special of the boy. Yet, blinking and giving him another glimpse, the femme stared at him bewildered. At first, she ignored him, being formal enough to not sound unsociable, but at second glance he looked exactly like that male. But...that had been years ago, about ten years! He looked the same, shouldn't he be twenty-seven or something along those lines? Artemis could only guess how old he use to be. Her orbs held the same curiousity that his had, yet hers were more confused.
".....Theo? Theodore.....Lithius?" The girl quieried, it took her a second or two to remember his last name. Seeing as, when she was little she only memorized his first name mostly, since she couldn't pronounce his last back then. Artemis would apoligize if it wasn't him, she wouldn't really be surprized, she was only guessing by the hair and face anyway. She couldn't see his orbs, so she couldn't be exactly sure. Her head cocked to the side in question, and her saphire orbs looked him over once, as if matching him to the image in her mind one more time.
After the inncedent years in the past, Artemis had ended up living with her grandmother for a few years, until deciding that she would rather live with a friend. No one other then herself knew about the vampyre's and or Theo. She never told anyone...who would believe her? Even if she tried they would probably say something along the lines of 'Aww is Theo your imagionary friend?', or something along those lines to help cope with what happened with her parents. The bodys were gone, making it look like the parents just up and left their kid to fend for herself. Artemis didn't really care by now, she learned to live with it, yet she did have a hatred for the blood sucking creatures by now.

"Yah, Go ahead,"
Theodore gave her a smile, and sat down next to her. Theodore raised his coffee to his lips and took another long drink, it was satisfactory enough to give him energy. Of course there was something else that could provide him with energy, but he had already had his fill for this week and he didn't want to become accustomed to satisfying that need more than once a week. Half-bloods did not need to be satisfied as much, well at least not if they were half-human. So for now the coffee was good, and it tasted even better knowing that it hadn't come from somebodies veins.
Theodore drew his attention back to the girl through his dark shades, she was looking at him confused. Maybe she was wondering why he was sitting here, maybe she had sussed him out as a half-ling, maybe there was something wrong with his attire. Or perhaps.... it was Artemis, and she recognized him. she definitely looked like the girl, only alot more grown up and womanly. That round adorable childish face had been slim and attractive. But was this the same face?
".....Theo? Theodore.....Lithius?" This proved it, This must be Artemis, not only did Artemis originally refer him to Theo, but something in her voice told him that this was the girl he had saved all those years ago. In response to his name he raised one hand and took off the shades folding them and putting them into his pocket. Before returning her gaze with those yellow cat-like eyes.
`I'm glad to see your still well Artemis`
Of course during his time between now and their last meeting he had just continued with his business, research and whatnot. Only improving ever so slightly in his gain for revenge, It was only every few years did the memory of Artemis return and he would wonder what happened to her. Then go visit the spot where he saved her. Of course, she had been no where to be seen each time, so he had no idea what she would grow up to look like. He could only imagine, and his imagination had not been far off.

As the boy withdrew his shades away from his eyes, Artemis could feel a light smile begin to edge it's way onto her face. So it was Theo, and like she thought before, he looked the same. Maybe a few touches done to him, but nothing that seriously showed that he had aged that much. "You don't look different at all," Art mused, it wasn't really a question, more of a statement. Not really getting into deep consideration of the fact that Theo had 'different' irises then most people, along with him and his personal 'Fountain of Youth'((lol)). Artemis really wasn't the one to bug people with hundreds of questions, maybe one query once in awhile, but that was it.
Turning her full attention back on Theodore as he spoke, the femme gave him a smile. "Likewise, looks like your still alive and kicking." As she said this, Artemis took Snow and pushed him off of her lap irritable as if him being their bothered her. 'Stay down there, if you keep climbing up on me like that, i'm gonna think of you as a pervert.' Thinking this Art watched as the feline hissed darkly, as if he was mad about that. Rolling her eyes, Artemis angled her head towards Theo.
"Snow, is now Jaseon. He's a neko." Putting it blankly, Artemis didn't mind telling Theo. He seemed to know about the creatures like Snowerz, so why not tell him? All together though, Artemis had seemed to grow a trust in Theodore, even if she didn't know him that well at all, she still seemed to trust him as if she had known him for awhile. Jaseon however, unshethed his claws and went to scratch at Artemis. 'Hey! Even through i'm a cat, i'll still kick your ass!' The thought lingered in his mind, as he went to swipe his claws at her. Artemis however, effortlessly lifted her legs up onto the bench, pulling her knees up to her chest. "Asshole," She murmured as Jaseon hissed once more.
Jaseon, was once a neko. Friends with Kenji, Frost's older brother. Though, somehow he had gotten so enraged that he morphed into his feline form. Not able to change back, only once in a great while was he able to. He didn't understand it, he was a defective neko, or so he liked to think it. Claiming Artemis as his 'Human' to watch over, he stayed with her since she was young. He really just liked to be with someone, able to listen to them talk and comfort them, it made him feel better about himself. Like a older brother.

Theodore smiled at her recogniction of him, her smile proved that he had been right all along. And that this in fact was none other than Artemis, Only know Artemi had grown up. No longer was she that little girl, chased and hassled by Vampyres, with no parents. She was just enterring womanhood. To face the world at it's worst, or at least some of it. No human really knew the worst of the world, and Theodore prayed that someone as pure as Artemis would not have to witness it.
"You don't look different at all,"
His smile widened slightly, of course he wouldn't. It was his mothers bloodline that prolonged his life expectancy. It was a small reminder why bonds between humans and supernatural beings were so difficult, humans were so much more fragile, and died for too quickly. Always leaving the supernatural being to live on alone. That was a fear of his fathers, dying and leaving Theo and his mum alone to fend for themselves. No doubt Theodore noticed his fathers aging and how his mothers youth and beauty remained as the years passed.
Theodore felt it was quite strange how much he accepted this girls prescence. Any other human he would've pushed away and ignored. But their was something about Artemis that allowed him to tolerate her bubbly behaviour and kept him from scaring her off with harsh words. Maybe it was the fact that she knew Vampyres existed and she too lived beyond the boundaries of the secret. Once you knew, you didn't forget so easily. The other world holds a number of secrets ready to haunt you with.
"Likewise, looks like your still alive and kicking."
A brow raised. That makes me sound like an old-timer, not that i'm not old to humans, but compared to Vampyres i'm still very young. If only this could be said allowed. Of course, this would probably let Artemis onto the fact he was part-Vampyre. Which he figured she wouldn't like to much, knowing that Vampyres had attacked her when she was so young. She probably wouldn't consider him as her Hero any longer. Infact that idea would probably be replaced with the term Monster. The nickname sickened Theodore to the pit of his stomach. Making his blood boil, and his heart pound agressively. Or Perhaps, Artemis wouldn't care. She didn't seem to care about the fact the guy who had saved her a decade ago was sitting infront of her now. Looking almost the exact same as he had then. Take or give a few changes in his features.
"Snow, is now Jaseon. He's a neko."
This made Theodore turn his attention to the cat, He knew a little about Neko's, although not enough to trust them. He didn't feel safe around certain creatures until he knew enough about them to know the main answer he seeked. If they attacked him, could he kill it?Although this Neko looked pretty harmless. So Theodore decided to put that to the back of his mind. Having not really paid attention to the miniture feud between Artemis and her Neko. Theodore spoke up.
`Artemis, what happened to you after you left?`

Until the Sun rises Up. Listen to the Sound.
Leaning back against the wooden bench at his question, her eyes shifted to the stone fountain that had even amounts of water pouring out from it. It's water glimmered from all the coins that lingered at the bottom of it. She seemed to think about the question for a moment before answering, as if looking for words. "Well, after some odd boy who disliked hugs, came. I just lived with my grandparents for a few years before deciding to live with one or two friends," Her shoulders shrugged casually as she spoke, yet she seemed to give him a good-hearted smile when she spoke of him, 'disliking hugs'. Continuing on, "But then I just got a place to live by myself and Jase, It was in my better interest to go somewhere different I guess." Saying this, Artemis nudged the feline with her foot, and in return he meowed. Living with two guys didn't really seem as appealing as it did when she first decided to move in with them. As soon as they started getting weird, she was out of there. No way in hell was she staying there!
"That's pretty much it, nothing to big. I have some weird friends now, i'm going to go hang with Flint in a few minutes at the bar. He's a vamp." Artemis said yet her voice was hesitant as if expecting Theodore to look down on her for that decision. Not all vampyres were bad, some were kind. And some...like Flint...acted like a normal teenage boy, a complete ass, the kind you liked to hang with though. "Oh, I'm going to be hanging with you later also, i'm forcing you to come to the bar with me," Saying this normally, Art gave him a playful smile. She would take him even if he didn't want to go.
Pushing her hands off of the sitting area, the girl rose to her feet, and stretched her arms out in front of her. "Come Theo, it's either you get up and walk there, or i'm dragging you," Her voice was joking, yet serious at the same time. Flint would probably make a bad first impression, he wasn't one to make friends easily. Yet, he was a good guy down inside.

"Well, after some odd boy who disliked hugs, came. I just lived with my grandparents for a few years before deciding to live with one or two friends,"
Theodore's smile widened at the diliking hugs comment, he just wasn't good with people. And having some little girl hug your leg and call you her hero was a bit of a shock for him. He didn't know whether to pat her head or pull her off. Of course, he had hopefully improved in his social ability since then, but he doubted it as by much. He didn't have friends or family, just mostly enemies. He was glad to hear she had managed to remain with some relatives, at least she wasn't completely alone in the world like himself.
"But then I just got a place to live by myself and Jase, It was in my better interest to go somewhere different I guess."
He nodded at her, an independant spirit. That didn't surprise him about Artemis, she seemed like the type of girl who didn't need to rely on others, well except in the case of being under attack from Vampyres.
"That's pretty much it, nothing to big. I have some weird friends now, i'm going to go hang with Flint in a few minutes at the bar. He's a vamp."
Theodore's eyes widened at this news, He hadn't expected Artemis to actually ever meet another Vampyre again, let alone become friends with one. Theodore wondered who this Flint was, and what his intentions were, befriending a human something very rare for a Vampyre.
"Oh, I'm going to be hanging with you later also, i'm forcing you to come to the bar with me,"
Theodore's expression softened at the invite, it was kind of the girl to offer but he knew he shouldn't. It was too much of a public place to go, Theodore wasn't comfortable in public places, with so many humans around to bother him. & he knew if a Vampyre or Lycan were there, a scene might occur. And if things were to become unfortunate, blood may be spilled...
"Come Theo, it's either you get up and walk there, or i'm dragging you,"
He looked at the guy quietly, a small smile on his face. The girl of course wouldn't be able to drag him their with his Vampyric strength, however he knew that if he refused she wouldn't stop pestering him. Also if he went he'd get to see this Flint guy, see what he really was their for. And lastly, didn't he owe it to her, when he had walked away from him he could've gone after her, helped her home, looked after her for a bit. Instead he had just let her walk away and did nothing. Now was his chance to redeem himself ever so slightly. He sighed and got up, shaking his head slightly he began to walk. Already knowing he would be regretting this later...

Watching his smile widen, Artemis gave him a look and rolled her eyes. "You know, I might just start giving you thousands of hugs now, to make up for that one hug." Striding forward, her eyes glanced sideways at him. He seemed to be coming to the bar now, she didn't understand why he didn't want to go. Everyone acted like friends there, a place to party and hang out really...yet the drunks did get a bit annoying sometimes, and most of the girls were pretty slutty at times, but whatever. "I'm not sure if you'll like Flint, he likes to...joke around in a sense," As the words left her mouth, Artemis seemed to let out a sad sigh, as if disappointed in the males behavior. Flint might get on Theodore's bad side...he wasn't one to get along with that easy.
As the bar came into sight, the familiar crimson and Sapphire lights shined and spelt out 'Bar'. It was a night club also, a place where people came to party. Served alcoholic beverages, flashing multi colored lights and loud music. Who wouldn't like that? The music played differed though, one moment it would play a nice upbeat song that everyone knew, then a relaxing slow song for couples to sway with. And even thoughs songs that the girls would go on one side, the guys on the other and they would all sing along with the song, not caring if they couldn't hold the note long enough. It was all for fun.
"Flint's not hard to miss, he's the guy with a green hair, he may seem a bit obnoxious also." Giving a warning, Artemis walked into the bar, making sure Theo followed before hand. The song played through-out the bar, words nice and calm, yet if you listened to the words it was about a boy liking a girl. 'I'm in trouble, i'm an addict, i'm addicted to this girl, Shes got my heart tied in a knot, And my stomach in a whirl. But even worse I cant stop calling her, Shes all I want and more, I mean damn...Whats not to adore?'
In one fast movement, a dark green haired boy swiftly placed himself next to Artemis. It really didn't matter if a vampyre or lycan used their speed in here. Seeing as mostly everyone was drunk, and or intoxicated. So, weird shit could happen and they would be laughing and acting like it was nothing. "Hey Art baby," His voice was slightly seducing, not that he could help it, vamps always had that tinge to their voice, helped reel in the bate. Leaning over, he lightly wound his arms around her waist, and laid his head on her shoulder, as his voice pitched the same as the song, and he sang along with it. He wasn't bad, pretty much as good as the person singing the song, yet his voice was more smexii.(lol) "I'm running my mouth like I got her, But I surely don't. Because shes so-o-o-o-o-o-o, Rock and roll! And out of my league. Is she out of my league? Lets hope...not." As he sang the last part, after the rock and roll, his head tilted down a bit to press his mouth to her neck. His lips parted and he poked his fangs against it, not enough to break the skin, but enough to let her know what he was doing. Casting a glimpse at Flint as he put his fangs to her neck, Artemis didn't seem to be frightened, or in that matter care all to much. "Flint, mess off bud," Art knew that Flint meant no harm, he only liked fooling around like that. She was his human female friend, of course he would like to try and freak her out a bit. In return to her tone of voice, Flint gave her a devilish smirk, and withdrew away from her, only to look at Theo with his emerald eyes. "Whose he? He smells like vamp and human," Muttering the last part, Flint gave the boy one fleeting look, before rocking back on his heels. "Theodore, this is Flint. Flint this is Theodore. Flint can sometimes act like a ass, and or seem like he will bite me, but he won't." Ensuring Theo this, Artemis's voice sounded sure with the fact that the green eyed brute wouldn't sink his fangs into her, and Flint's head did a bob as if nodding. ((I g2g now, so spelling is non-checked xD)) [/blockquote]

"You know, I might just start giving you thousands of hugs now, to make up for that one hug."
He almost took a step away from her. He did not want to be hugged all of the time, despite how pretty she was. Hugging anyone was always so uncomfortable for him, besides he'd be so close to her veins, where that sickening delicious smell came from. He could even smell it now, but his human side was strong enough to keep the lust at bay.
"I'm not sure if you'll like Flint, he likes to...joke around in a sense,"
This distracted Theodore from the thoughts of blood, and he looked at her as she sighed. Of course I'm not going to like him, he's a pure bred vampyre. If he's allowing himself to be so close to humans, then of course he's trouble. Theodore took a moment to reassure himself, remembering where his weapons were just in case he'd need them. Artemis wouldn't like Theodore attacking her friend but if this guy took it too far, Theodore would protect her. He just had to.
The bar came into sight, the smells that reached his nose made him wince. The place reeked, alcohol, sweat, humans and the faint scent of Vampyres. It made Theo want to retch. The music was loud, alot louder for him considering his senses. The chatter of the humans and the sound of their dancing was all blended together like the blending of intoxicating juices. Theodore closed his eyes briefly, damn the temptation was so strong it was ridiculous, of course Vampyres would be here this place was like heroin to drug addicts. The smell of it lured them in.
"Flint's not hard to miss, he's the guy with a green hair, he may seem a bit obnoxious also."
Theodore nodded, stepping into the place. He glanced at the people around him, his expression serious, he could already see the vampyres, they stood out of the crowd like a black dot on white paper. His fists clenched slightly, some of them were even dancing with the humans they mouths so close to there throats yet not biting. Then he spotted him, moving towards them like lightning, The Flint guy. Vampyre. Just as Artemis had warned. Using his abilities here was almost safe, all the people around were distracted with their drunken intentions they did not pay attention.
"Hey Art baby,"
Theodore tensed as Flint moved close to Artemis, holding her like that. Already Theodore wanted to punch the guy in the face.
"I'm running my mouth like I got her, But I surely don't. Because shes so-o-o-o-o-o-o, Rock and roll! And out of my league. Is she out of my league? Lets hope...not."
Theodore hands started to shake as Flint moved his mouth to Artemis throat, his right hand was edging towards his gun like a magnet. A growl rumbled in Theodore's chest, he only did this rarely, but seeing those fangs touching Artemis skin, they weren't cutting, which was exactly why Theodore didn't do anything. A Vampyre that bites is harsh and quick, Vampyres do not control themselves like this, therefore Flint was not likely to be attacking her yet but as soon as he threatened to. He'd be blown to pieces.
"Flint, mess off bud,"
Theodore's eyes were narrowed at Flint, feeling a little relieved as he moved away from her. Then Flints eyes met Theodore's. Theodore glared to show his clear dislike for this Vampyre.
"Whose he? He smells like vamp and human,"
Theodore smirked, his eyes flashed dangerously. Quick. Most Vampyres just thought he'd been close to a vampyre, it took them a while to take in what he was.
"Theodore, this is Flint. Flint this is Theodore. Flint can sometimes act like a ass, and or seem like he will bite me, but he won't."
Theodore stared at the pair for a moment longer then smiling at Artemis, he reached down to grab her hand, and lead her to the bar.
`Let's get a drink then, since I'm going to be here for a while.`

Hospilitity radiated from this 'Theodore' as Flint pretty much did any physical contact with Artemis, and Flint reliased this. Yet, knowing that, all Flint thought was 'Hmm, what is this boys limits? How far will he go? Physical contact with Artemis boosted fifty percent'. And the more the brute thought about it, the more he really did want to see this halfbreeds limits, how far could he go being only part Vampyre? At the moment Flint didn't fear him, nothing to fear, just a mongrel, but, Flint labled him a possible threat in his mind, just incase.
As soon as the growl sounded from the back of Theo's throat, Flint wasn't going to return it at first, but he just did a clear barely audible, growl, that was to low for Artemis to notice but completely clear for this brute. His upper lip curled back to bare the tips of his canines before he smiled down at Artemis all signs of what happened gone and a bright smile replaced it. "Artemis, I don't think your friend likes me all to much. Especially when I hug you," Saying this, a frown came although he didn't really feel all to sad, just a facade for the girl, for him to seemingly be sad.
Artemis watched the scene between the two, Theo's angered aura and Flint's responce to it, maybe a fight would go down? If one did go down, Artemis would be pissed off, they're really was no reason for one, unless Flint acted like a dumbass which he probably would. A light sigh came, dammit they're would be a rumble between the two, it was higher then the chance of them just getting along.
A hand rose to poke Theodore in the cheek noticing the quick flash coming over his irises. "Theo," She said, her voice clear in how she disliked how he just looked at Flint, maybe Theodore would get himself to worked up over how Flint acted, he hadn't even seen the worst of it yet. Flint was a...flirt...sometimes he did somethings that could get other people infuriated easily.
Returning the smile brightly to Theo, Artemis carefully grasped his hand as he lead her towards the bar. As they reached it, she sat down on one of the spinny stools that were attached to the barcounter, and let go of Theo's hand, placing it on the counter twinning it with her other hand, and turning her waist so that her bottom half spinned slightly with the stool yet her top half was still. As she waited for the bartender to finish with other customers, Artemis's eyes shifted to Theo's, "So, if you have any questions about myself or Flint, don't hesitate to ask, i'm willing to answer anything,"
Moving over, Flint took a seat next to Artemis and he didn't forget about to 'Fifty percent more physical contact', taking his arm, he slinged it over her shoulders and snuggled up against her. "I love my girl," He said seducingly, ignoring Theo, yet he did do a slight glance over at him to see his reaction. Artemis however flinched away from him in discomfort, to close. "Flint, let go," She said but he restrained from doing so, what would Theo do now? Him not listening to Art when she wanted him to stop.

The growl that was emitted from Flint didn't bother Theodore in the slightest, it took alot to even shake Theodore's nerves ever so slightly. A human could scare him in alot more ways than a Vampyre could. However the look that Flint gave Artemis was all too sickening, that fake plastered innocence. As if he didn't suck the blood of humans in order to live. As if the smell of the blood pulsating through Artemis veins wasn't intoxicating him right now. Even Theodore felt it, Artemis has strong blood, good healthy blood which was like the most delicious alcohol a human could ever desire. Much too addictive.
"Artemis, I don't think your friend likes me all to much. Especially when I hug you,"
Theodore couldn't help but scowl at the vampyre. He didn't like this guy who could so easily take the life that Theodore had saved all those years ago... nor did he liked hugging in generally. So of course the combination of the two left so little to be desired. Then as he felt Artemis poke his cheek, he glanced at her, he raised a brow and stared at her for a moment, then his expression softened and he sighed. He couldn't help but not like this guy, did Artemis really expect him to. He'd expected her to understand why he had saved her so long ago a little bit more, why he was stopping the treacherous acts of ruthless vampyres, who were too selfish to have more control over their desires. Donor drinking saved more lives, and left no room for guilt. He eyed Flint again, wondering whether he drank from donor, or whether he feasted straight from the original source.
"Theo,"
He glanced back at Artemis, feeling slightly guilty from the unhappy look she was giving him. He looked away, geez, any other girl he would've just glared back at. But whenever he looked at Artemis he saw that six year old. Crying in fear of being eaten by the vampyres. No mother. No father. Human. Almost like himself. Just almost.
As they reached the bar he eyed the rows of drinks to choose. Being part human Theodore was still able to eat and drink normally, and almost enjoy food, sure it was as delicious as blood, but the better it tasted the more satisfying it was. So it wasn't too bad.
`I'll have a WKD please, and whatever the lady wants`
He smiled at Frost, putting some money down on the counter. And turned, not really caring whether what Frost bought was expensive, he had methods of earning money. He leaned back against the bar, his expression once again serious as he eyed the peoples that surrounded him. The Vampyres didn't look like they were going to be any trouble. And if they were, he'd lure them outside and deal with them.
"So, if you have any questions about myself or Flint, don't hesitate to ask, I'm willing to answer anything,"
Why the hell are you hanging out with a Vampyre when all those years ago they almost drained you dry.
How could anyone be so forgiving.
'Well, how does one such as yourself, despite previous occurrences, make acquaintances with the same kind of beings years later?`
He said, curious to know how Artemis had even found another Vampyre, sure their were plenty around but they hardly went out and made themselves known to humans. Why did Flint reveal himself to her? Theodore just couldn't understand. "I love my girl," Theodore glanced to Flint, who snuggled up to Artemis, that glanced he shot him. He was just begging for a reaction, for a rise. In response Theodore merely rolled his eyes at the gesture, showing Flint that in his eyes the green haired Vampyre was pathetic. Also the look on Artemis face made him grin a little, knowing that Artemis found little comfort in snuggling with this guy, tamed the anger that had been building up inside of Theodore. "Flint, let go," Despite the girls command Flint did not release her. Theodore felt the anger rise again, pushing slightly past the restraints Art's will had placed there. However despite this, Theodore appeared calm and stoic. He looked away out into the crowd, eying the Vampyres. As he stared at them a small devilish smirk crawled upon his lips. He had an idea. If Flint persisted to push him, he would merely find a way of drawing the attention of the other Vampyres. And bending them into doing exactly what he desired. A little trickery, would go a long way. `I suggest you let go of her. Unless you want blood to be spilled.` He parted his lips in a wide smile. Those square canines of his lengthening, sharpening becoming fangs. That as the thin about Theodore he could hide his fangs, but when he wanted them to be see, changing the shape of his teeth wasn't difficult. `Vampyres, despite their how strong their restraint is, can't control themselves to much around blood can they. Even the blood of a half-breed such as myself.` He stroked the veins on her arms suggestively, yes, he would bite himself, the moment the smell hit the air, the Vampyres would be upon him. He would be able to fight them off, as soon as he was outside. But Flint was the one he wanted the attention off, once the resistance broke off and Flint went for him. All Theodore would have to do is lead him as far away as possible and kill him. Or die. Whatever kept Artemis safe..[/blockquote][/blockquote]

`I'll have a WKD please, and whatever the lady wants'
What did she want? Alcohol sounded nice at the moment, not a lot, just a bit mixed with something else would be fine, since Artemis was no raging alcoholic, though, she felt like something more sweet not the usual slightly bitter taste of the intoxinating liquid. "I'll just have a sprite for now," Saying this, she caught Theo giving her a smile as he placed the money on the counter, and couldn't help but return his smile, dammit it was like a kneejerk reaction, no matter what it was like the smile was already there, not that she disliked Theo, it was more of a mind thing. Unlike Flint, who it was your first instinct to frown, shake your head in disappoint and walk away from.
'Well, how does one such as yourself, despite previous occurrences, make acquaintances with the same kind of beings years later?`
Hesitating for a short moment as Theodore inquired this, Artemis seemed to take this time to think about an answer. "It just kinda happened, at first I really did hate them, but as I grew older I came to the conclusion that not all of them deserved to have emotions like that directed at them for what others did. Give the ones that did nothing a chance instead of just excluding them completely." Responding, her shoulders shrugged at the end, Kenji was her first non-human friend, well, that she knew of not counting Theo, he was like a brother to her even with his cat ears and tail. Flint was the annoying friend, you loved to hang with even if he annoyed the hell out of your other friends.
Then, Theo started threatening Flint, Artemis just ignored them both now, and kicked the white cat the had curled up at her feet in the stomache lightly, Jaseon in return hissed, but looked at her. She wanted Kenji, the boy that she had newly decided was her 'adopted' brother, he seemed to like it and decided he would be a brother to her. Whenever she felt nervious, or worried, he would show up in moments. Nekos had the power of empathy, to communicate with eachother. So, Jaseon easily called Kenji with simple mind power.
In moments, a ebony haired boy with deep crimson irises came, a worried look on his face, as his orbs scanned the area, looking for Artemis. A content sigh came seeing she was fine, but the two vampyres looked ready to attack, damn. Moving over, a light childish smile on his face, Kenji came up from behind Flint, gripped the back of his neck and pushed forward, slamming Flint's head into the bartenders counter. Flint cringed and let go of Artemis, whom was now picked up by Kenji and spinned once around in a loving manner. "Art, you okay? Did the ass hurt you? And whose the new boy? My little Art didn't get a boyfriend did she?!" Kenji started with simple calm questions, before gasping at the last one like he would be hurt if she did.
Artemis felt Flint recoil back as his head collided with the counter, whatever he deserved it. But now she was captured by Kenji, "Hi Kenji~," She chimed, as he swinged her once round', "I'm fine, Flint did nothing, Theodore, and that's not funny," Answering his questions one after the other, Artemis grumbled, one bad boyfriend and Kenji would bug her forever. "Theo, this is Kenji, he's like a brother, and Kenji this is Theodore, he is someone special to me," Doing introductions again, Art would have a conversation with Theo later about this little incedent, not that she was mad that he stood up for her like that, she just wanted to thank him.
Kenji looked Theo over once before smiling at him childishly, not really all to concerned about Flint's well-being. "Hello Theodore,"

"I'll just have a sprite for now,"
Theodore was surpised about how pleased he was by this, the thought of being drunk in a place like this, even if the Vampyes didn't intend to do anything, made Theodore quite uncomfortable. He frowned at himself, he had never cared so much for the well-being for a human so much, this girl, it was so strange, it was like compulsary for him to desire her safety. IT worried him, a girl who was close friends with a Vampyre and had good-smelling blood. Maybe it was just her blood that made than poccesive feature come alive, not many Vampyres liked to share. But somehow Theodore figured it was perhaps that annoying traits to help other, both his parentd couldn't help but help those in need, and Artemis seemed to always be in need of protection. This girl was going to make his life alot more tiring, he just knew it.
"It just kinda happened, at first I really did hate them, but as I grew older I came to the conclusion that not all of them deserved to have emotions like that directed at them for what others did. Give the ones that did nothing a chance instead of just excluding them completely."
Theodore stared at her for a moment, so much forgiveness, so much acceptance. For the breed who killed her parents. IT was amazing. Beyond amazing. Theodore would never be able to forgive those scientists he couldn't help but persue. He would always be hunting them. But perhaps he had already done was Artemis had, those Scientists that had tortured him, those people who had killed his parents. They were human. And yet instead of going around slaughtering humans for being the same species as those scum, he went out of his way to protect them. Perhaps that was because, he was half of the same kind. And that his father was as helpless and defenceless as the rest of the humans. Perhaps, indeed.
The appearance of another male shocked Theodore out of his thoughts, he watched as the male moved behind Flint, grabbing him by the neck and shoving his head forcefully into the barcounter. The impact made a grin spread across Theo's face, which only widened when Flint let go out Artemis. Then Theodore drew his attention to the guy who was now spinning Artemis around. The scent of him was unfamiliar. Confusing, the smell of his blood was animal like, with feline qualities. Strange. Very Strange.
"Art, you okay? Did the ass hurt you? And whose the new boy? My little Art didn't get a boyfriend did she?!"
Theodore couldn't help at grin at the guys reference as flint beng as Ass, also at the boyfriend comment, he snoted in disbelief. It seemed everyone he encountered wanted to be Art's lover or boyfriend or at least joked about it. He glanced at her, Well i suppose i can't blame them, Artemis was very pretty, and innocent looking. All an attraction. But Theodore found the concept of relationships to be non-exist. Which is why he felt awkward with her. He didn't want to get to close to this girl, if he felt this protective of her already the more time he'd spend with her, the harder it would be to leave.
Theodore still had things he needed to do.
"Hi Kenji~, I'm fine, Flint did nothing, Theodore, and that's not funny,"
Nothing? Being an asehole doesn't really just come naturally. Although he couldn't be sure withy Flint. Theodore shot Flint another look before returning his gaze to the pair.
"Theo, this is Kenji, he's like a brother, and Kenji this is Theodore, he is someone special to me,"
Theodore smiled, yet that word unnerved him slightly. Special, he was special to her. Already closed than he'd hoped for. Already too close. Seeing as this guy wasn't a Vampyre, nor did he seemed to actually want to hurt Artemis. Theodore returned his smile brightly.
`Hey, Kenji, nice to meet you.`
Theodore noticed the arrival of his drink, taking the blue bottle, he took a gulp. Tangy, yet interesting. The liquid danced on his tongue before swallowing it. He let out a sigh of satisfaction and put his bottle down. Then glancing at Kenji he spoke.
`Can i get you anything mate?`
Feeling that the guy deserved a drink for the punishment he'd unleashed on Flint.

Removing his arms from around Artemis, Kenji bent down so he was facing her face to face, "Artemis, if Flint ever does something like that to you again, just tell me. I'll make sure he never does it again," Telling her this, her watched her head bob up in a nod, insuring she understood. "Okay," Kenji said kissing the top of her head in a friendly manner, as you would see family members doing to the younger kin.
Watching as Art hopped back onto her stool beside Flint and Theo, Kurokawa sat himself beside Theo, and ordered himself a NOS Energy drink, he wasn't into drinking of anykind, he got crazy and was not aloud to drink any kind of alcohol, energy drinks were okay though. "So, I am Kenji Kurokawa, I'm a neko, the feline creatures, and no i'm fine, I can get my own drink," Kenji said clear in his voice he disliked people using their money on him. His jet black hair fell in front of his crimson orbs but the crimson shown through the black.
Nekos could read minds, not needed to drink the blood of the person, it just happened, along with the power of Empathy, allowing them to feel the emotions of surrounding people, and made is possible to tamper with a certain person feelings if needs. Faster and more agile then Lycans and Vampyres, for this, they were paid the price of not being as strong as vampyre's nor Lycans alike, though not a very bad price considering they usually didn't fight nekos were loners and escaped any aggression if possible. Kenji however, liked fighting, helped relieve him of bottled up stress.
"Faggot," Kenji muttered under his breathe as the now recovered Flint snarled at him at the comment, Kenji had heard Flint's thought, calling him a not to nice name, so he replied with calling him gay in a way. Flint didn't like that, and went to move around Artemis to get to Kenji. Kenji and Flint had unfinished business, Kenji had almost killed him before when Fay and Frost were there. Artemis wouldn't let that happen though, she just waited until he looked as if he was going to lunge at her friend before kicking her foot out and nailing him in the 'manly' area, for a human to do that to a vampyre was the only way you could hurt one, worked enough though. The girl didn't seem fazed by it but just took her drink and sipped from the side.
"Kalliste?" Kenji said, waiting for Artemis to reply, they used eachothers last names sometimes, instead of using the same name all the time, shifting her gaze to Kurokawa she waited for his question. "You should come dance with me on the dance floor." "...No, never happening," Artemis replied, it didn't matter who asked her, she would have said no to each one, it wasn't that she couldn't dance, she was pretty good at it, it was just she didn't feel the need for going at the moment.
