Play with our food? Oh yes we do. Stalk around at night And give you a fright. Chase you around And make nothing not even sound As we give you a 'chance' We move in a prance Like you even had a chance. Stupid stupid fool.
Running forward, breathing heavily, a little girl moved as fast as she could. Yet, being so young, the fasted she could go was probably a jog for a teenager, seeing as her legs were short. Her blonde locks wisped behind her wildly against the wind, and tears streamed down her face. Her sapphire irises were surrounded by red, and were swollen showing she had been crying for awhile. Her long skirt moved freely around her legs, daring to try and trip her once and a while, not succeeding in the task though. The femme's arms moved in sync next to her small frame, pumping quickly to try and go faster.
A white male cat sprinted next to her, it's ears pulled back in irritation next to it's head. Tail lashing behind him, Snow's rusty orbs scanned the surroundings, and rested forward.
"Aww, don't be afraid. We only wanted a 'small' snack," The seducing voices came from the shadows behind her, or any place else shade casted down from. A few shady figures stepped out from the safety of the dark patches, and walked behind the girl, easily keeping up with her.
Taking a swift turn, the girl turned into an alley, it wasn't the smartest decision at the least. But, what was a little six year old going to do? Think up a master plan to escape? I don't think so.
The skirt caught one of her legs, and she stumbled slightly before falling forward on the hard damp concrete. "Ow," She managed to mumble between the tears and sobs. Crawling forward and against the wall, her arms went around her legs tightly, and her face dug against her knees, as if hiding it. Her small structure trembled violently, jerking away from any noise that came.
"Artemis," A mew came, from the cat, as if trying to comfort the human, rubbing his face against the girls leg, trying to calm her the tiniest bit. Poor girl. It thought in it's mind, as the male hissed, baring it's fangs at the upcoming strangers. They had their canine fangs bared, and they grinned devilishly. "Found you," One of them said tauntingly, moving over and kneeling down, skimming his index and middle finger along her neck, before poking the vein.
Pulling away from his hand, Artemis murmured silently "Help me."
((I think I may make 'Snow' a neko stuck in his cat form -nods- xD))

``Pain make your way to me, to me & I'll always be just so inviting...
He was walking along with his hands pushed into his jean pockets, he had a coin in one pocket and he was rolling it around between his fingers. Find a penny pick it up, the rest of the day you'll have good luck! Silly little superstition, but still, when he had seen that glistening little coin on the ground, he couldn't help but find himself kneeling down and picking it up. Out of sheer boredom.
It was pretty dark know, and Theodore was just on his way to the library for some extra note taking. Lately that seemed to be the basis of his life, go to the library do some reason, go home study the research, sleep, eat, feed, and the cycle would repeat. Recently any activity that included his goal was pretty hard to get. The laboratory he had been trapped in had been burnt down. He didn't know how, but when he went back for information, it was a mere pile of ashes. Gone.
Theodore only regretted this a little, the place may have held the exact information required to kill and destroy his torturers. But knowing the place was no longer there seem to soothe his memory a little, had he once again had to look at that horrible cruel cage he may have lost himself in rage and destroyed the place anyway. The fact it was gone now was nice, although it almost gave him no idea about how to seek his revenge on the scum. Only his father, bless his soul, had pointed him in the right direction.
His father's information had given him enough key information for him to be able to carry out his plan. A plan he was still going through...
Theodore's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by running, he turned around to see a little girl in the distance, running towards him. Of course the girl must have not seen him because she suddenly ran into an alleyway. Theodore blinked looking blankly, then he saw them... and his expression immediately darkened. Three vampyres followed the girl into the alleyway, a looked of malicious hunger in their eyes. Theodore didn't need more than a moment, He ran towards the alleyway, pulling out his fathers gun, ready to kill.
That was the thing about his fathers gun he loved, of course it couldn't kill a vampyre, Vladimir had taken that feature off after marrying his mother. However it could most definately weaken them, alot more than any normal gun. Specially designed bullets. All he'd have to do it click a burst and the bullets realised a small dose of UV radiation, not enough to kill a Vampyre, but it would most definately give them a painful experience to remember. Theodore leapt into the alleyway and stopped, he saw the Vampyre leaning over the girl, aiming his gun. He shot the Vampyre. In his head, Of course, no Vampyre could survive a bullet being force into his brain and then releasing UV radiation into his body. The Vampyre slumped down dead.
Theodore aimed quickly at another Vampyre, shooting three bullets. One missing him, One hitting his shoulder, and the last one his heart. The Second Death, of course, Theodore wasn't so lucky with the third Vampyre, it crashed into him. Smashing him against a brick wall, He winced in pain, and ducked the Vampyre's next swipe, only to have his gun knocked out of his hand. Shit! Theodore ducked another swipe, trying to reached under his trouser leg for his blade. He felt pain again as the Vampyre scratched his face, leaving an almost cat like traces of scratches. Theodore gripped his blade, The one so sharp, it could slice a lycan in have. Two swipes of it. & the Vampyre fell dead.
Theodore leaned against the wall panting for breath. His back ached a little from the impact, no broken bones though. He wiped the blood off of his face then put the blade away. Going over to his gun, he picked it up and put it in his pocket. Then he looked over at the little girl.
`You okay?`

The sudden loud 'bang' of a gun, made Artemis twitch and lift her head up to look at the new stranger with the gun at hand. She stared wide-eyed at the boy, as he aimed for yet another 'monster'. Who was he? Different thoughts came to mind, and stayed lingering for a moment before getting stored for later.
The last vampyre went limp, after of course giving the enemy a final greeting present, which happened to be a few feline like cuts to the face. Her irises were glued to the newcomer, and he arms went out in front of her to grip onto her white cat tightly. A slight hiss erupted from the felines maw at the boy, he had the scent of a vampyre, and that meant he could do harm. Snow wasn't willing to take the risk. Unsheathing his white claws, the boy felt his hackles raise, along with his lips to expose his fangs. Though, when the boy came forward and questioned the girl on how she was, Snow sheathed his weapons and meowed.
Watching the teenager closely, Artemis quickly rose one of her hands to wipe at the tears in her ocean blue eyes. "No, I was being chased by weird people, and my parents are dead!" The little girl said, trying to stay strong, but this brought up new sobs, and tears. "Mommy and daddy!" She whimpered, holding the cat in a death grip. "All I have is Snowy." Calming herself, by petting the cat, she looked at the boy. "Who are you? I'm...Artemis Kalliste," She spoke, her words were shaky, and her body still trembled slightly.
Pushing her hands against the ground, the femme rose to her feet, her head coming up to about Theo's waist. Her head tilted to look up at the 'hero'. "You know...your like Spiderman. Your my hero." She said, placing the feline on the ground, only to replace him with hugging Theo. It was more like her wrapping her arms around one of his legs though, since she really wasn't tall enough to give him a 'hug'. This was good enough though.

Theodore stopped standing infront of the girl, looking at her. How old was she? Like... six years old. So young, it angered him that those Vampyres had gone for such small prey, the cowards, a normal human stood a chance, but a child so young... It goes to show, power doesn't make courage.
"No, I was being chased by weird people, and my parents are dead! Mommy and daddy! "
Her words hit him deeply, she too had experienced the loss of her folk so young. Of course when he had lost his folk he had actually be alive for 8 years, but his body was that of a four year old. Still undeveloped in many ways. He hadn't been at all prepared to take on the world, he hadn't been prepared to become a caged animal either.
"All I have is Snowy."
It was the first time Theodore acknowledged the cat, he looked at the white feline, and raised a brow. As if that was an ordinary cat, there was something very different about that feline he raised his brow speculatively. Then ignoring those suspicious ideas he returned his attention to the girl. Overall, it seems that she had not been harmed by the Vampyre's, which was a good sign. But what know, honestly Theodore didn't have much experience socializing with humans, especially not anyone so young as this girl, he probably couldn't take her to her home, her parents were dead. She said all she had was that cat.
"Who are you? I'm...Artemis Kalliste,"
A unique name for sure. He had never heard of it before. `Theodore Lithius`He replied, in an unsure tone, the girl was trembling. He knew he should comfort her, but how? He needed help right now. But he didn't have any friends he could go to. Best just look after her for a bit to calm her down and make her forget about the ordeal. Then perhaps find an orphanage he could drop her off. He most definitely couldn't have a six year old following him every on his battles and journey. He watched Artemis get up making her appear even smaller and more fragile than before. "You know...your like Spiderman. Your my hero." He blinked at her shocked and confused, then he made an outburst of shock as she hugged his leg. He stared at her bewilderedly. Never before had he experienced a little girl hug him, nor had someone ever refer to him as their hero. But this young little naive thing was clinging to him. He shook his leg a little unsure of how to make her let go.[/blockquote] [/blockquote]

"Theo-dore," Artemis said, making it into two parts, she was thinking of just making it 'Theo', easier to say. "Theo," She said now, showing that, that was the name she would address him by. The girl didn't try to pronounce his last name though, she didn't think she could so why try? Maybe when she was bored, she would sound it out and try, but at the moment, she had enough trouble saying her 'th's right, it sometimes came out sounding like 'tea'.
Feeling the slight movement of his leg, Artemis let go, and knelt down to pick up Snow. Leaning over, she whispered in the cats ear, "He's grumpy." That was her excuse for anyone that disliked human contact, why wouldn't anyone like a hug other then that reason? Hugs were nice and warm, made you feel fuzzy inside, who wouldn't want one? In responce, Snow made a growlish hiss, and lashed his paw out, unsheathing his claws slightly to swipe Theo in the leg. "Asshole," It grumbled, before rasping it's tongue against the little girls cheek.
"Nice kitty," Artimes chimed contently, rubbing her face in the cats pelt, before turning and making her way towards the road. She didn't want to be a bother, and the boy didn't seem like he liked her that much, so why bug him with her presence? She had Snow and that was all she needed for now to keep calm, her kitty cat. No way in hell was she going to a family Art didn't know, her parents had told her stories that some kids that got picked up, got abused by the family that chose them.
"Bye bye, daddy." She called behind her at Theo, she really didn't realise what she had said. It was one of those slips that little kids usually made, like if they found someone who resembled someone close to them, then they usually called them that by mistake. Moving forward, and hitting the desired road, she walked in the middle of it, singing to herself. "Twinkle twinkle, little star," And so on, her blue orbs shifted up to glimpse at the sky.
The cat, meowed along with her soothingly, and lightly put pressure against her arm with his paws, in beat with the tune.
